Glimpse of Manish Arora's Hong Kong pop-up shop

As the de facto international face of Indian fashion, Manish Arora is used to globe-trotting with his kitsch-loving label, from Paris Fashion Week to the Artisans of Fashion showcase in Sydney to his home town of Delhi.

His most recent step towards world domination: a pop-up store in Hong Kong at popular city boutique On Pedder. Arora introduced his spring/summer 2014 line -- 'Josephine Baker goes raving in luxe sportswear' -- to a motley crew of bloggers and shoppers this month. http://fashioncentral.asia/

"We started planning the pop-up store in September," says Deepak Bhagwani, Arora's business partner. "Hong Kong is one of our strongest markets where we retail through [store] Joyce, but this is our first pop-up shop there. Manish had a really good time."

The pop-up store lasts through January 31, and features a wide range of products with the Manish Arora stamp, from his eponymous line (think backpacks, hoodies, belts, skirt suits) and jewellery collaboration with Amrapali to his home linen line with Portico.
